'VERY, VERY GOOD'
Strengths:
Fine quality and ease of use. Great to use in manual mode
Weaknesses:
none that really made any difference
Overall:
I updated to the 30D over a year ago and I'm considering updating again to the 40D mainly for the larger live screen and more pixels

'STILL CUTS THE MUSTARD'
Strengths:
Build quality, handling, speed, image quality, good exposure accuracy
Weaknesses:
Some could find it heavy. Mirror slap. Slightly small LCD.
Overall:
A camera with a deserved reputation which can still deliver quality images.

'STRONG, DEPENDABLE AND A BARGAIN IF YOU CAN FIND ONE!'
Strengths:
Strong construction, low noise levels usually(see my day in a studio article), good white balance, lots of features inc synch port and remote shutter release facility.
Weaknesses:
A little heavy, can feel poorly balanced unless a larger lens is fitted. When shutter release is pressed the mirror mechanism doesn't have the same reassuring sound as the 10D and 5D, instead it sounds like a bit of a crunch is happening in there!
Overall:
A good solid workhorse that will deliver superb results if you take the time to learn how to use it. If you are looking for a second hand dslr that will last for years it should be at the top of your list!
