'A GREAT CAMERA, EASY TO USE, GREAT RESULTS'
Strengths:
image quality, easy of use in the hand, reliable, buttons feel in the right place, solid build
Weaknesses:
exposure - a bit on the safe side, all day shoots it struggels
Overall:
My 2 are 2 years old and still going string but can play up every now and again - some menu items buired too deep, some functions should be on a button or have a user progamable button, battery life great, flash commander mode should be better.

Still a great camera though

'GREAT PERFORMER, STILL IMPRESSIVE EVEN TWO YEARS OLD.'
Strengths:
-Instant on.
-Fast and responsive (eg 3FPS continuous shooting.)
-Image quality is great.
-Build quality is excellent.
-Lots of controls, including flash options.
-Excellent ergonomics. (except the DOF preview location!)
-Excellent range of lenses
-Kit lens has great optics for the money.
-Battery life is hard to fault, it's really really good.
Weaknesses:
-Can't zoom in far enough to check focus on playback
-The DOF preview button is in an annoying place. At first -I always touched it by accident when trying to review images, making the screen switch off.
-Focus innacuracies on some examples. (my AF-S lenses focus slightly off, but all mechanically driven lenses are fine. Weird!)
Overall:
There's always room for improvement, but for the money, this is one killer camera. Considering it's 2 years old, it's still very competative. Try looking at other 2 year old cameras, they don't compare to new models nearly sa well.
