| 'ONE FANTASTIC CAMERA FOR THE MONEY' | | Strengths: -Very responsive -Excellent auto white balance -Excellent red eye removal -Decent battery life off 2 AAs -Good ergonomics -Great picture quality -Good auto focus -4Megapixels is all you need (no, really!) | | Weaknesses: At this price i wouldn't like to pick too many bones, but it would be nice to have more manual control really. It's not the prettiest camera in the world, but the design isn't bad, and I can overlook a slightly bland design when the performance is so good. The screen is smaller than a lot of the competition, but works pretty well. | | Overall: A friend bought one of these and I was expecting it to be slow and have poor white balance like all the other compacts I had seen recently at that time, but this one is a really great camera for the money. I was extremely impressed by both the user experience and the results. It's a shame it's been discountinued in my opinion.
Forget the megapixels if you're buying a compact. I think you'll get better prints out of this camera than any 7 to 10 megapixel camera you care to mention |
