| 'AT LAST!!' | | Strengths: Total interaction with camera via appropriate Metz SCA interface. Very powerful gun - could light a conference hall Excellent longevity - should be useable with future digital dslr's Has excellent secondary flash unit to support bounce flash photography Worth investing in recommended interface to suit whichever camera owned - full camera interaction available as a result, and therefore individual camera lighting systems supported
| | Weaknesses: May have been bad batch, but had real problems with two charger units that went to trickle mode after only 30mins (instead of decent 2hrs+ charge time required). Good support from Metz and from London Camera Exchange where product was bought | | Overall: Really missed my original Metz hammerhead that I used with my original non digital slr. SB600 doesn't come close by comparison - flash compensation on D200 not required with this Metz gun (well, no circumstances demanded compensation as yet). Expensive, but worth it. |
