The first round of Photographer of the Year 2008 was looking for you to contemplate "People" - and we got a whole cross-section of excellent images, now whitteled down to a
fantastic top 20 finalists.
Congratulations to those finalists - but who will win a brand new Nikon D300 DSLR body courtesy of our friends at Kingsley Photographic? That question can only be answered by you!
The 20 thumbnail images below will take you through to that image in the POTY 2008 Round 1 People finalists gallery - it's then up to you to vote on a scale of 1 (low) to 5 (high). You may chose to vote on just a single image, a number of images, or maybe even all of them! The choice is yours, but you can only place one vote per image (and we will check IP addresses to ensure no fixed voting!).
We'd like to know what you think of the final selection too - don't be shy, start up a forum post about who you'll be voting for and why, or perhaps there's some constructive criticism you feel ought to be voiced?
