Sony's new Cyber-shot DSC-W300 digital camera is among the highest-resolution compacts on the market.
The camera integrates an ultra-high 13.6-megapixel CCD sensor, along with 3x optical zoom lens, a 2.7-inch LCD screen and an eye-level viewfinder. With its ultra-hard titanium coating, the W300 offers a premium look and finish that is highly-resistant to scratches and fingerprints.
The Sony DSC-W300 features an “extra high-speed” burst rate of five frames per second (at 3megapixel only), Super SteadyShot optical image stabilisation and high sensitivity up to ISO6400. Plus the camera's intelligent scene recognition technology can automatically detect five different types of scenes and optimize the camera settings for them.
Sony's new D-Range Optimizer Plus process helps to improve detail in photos with harsh highlights or dark shadows.
As is currently favorable, the Cyber-shot W300 also includes an HD component output for viewing photos on a compatible HDTV set.
