Sony announces the latest addition to its high-zoom camera line - the 9.1-megapixel 15x optical zoom Cyber-shot DSC-H50 digital camera. The ideal choice for people looking for high zoom, high-resolution and speed.
The camera features a large, 3-inch tilting LCD screen so you can shoot comfortably from nearly any position, as well as image stabilisation. A scratch-resistant, UV hard-coat finish adds a premium look and feel that mirrors the performance of the model.
The H50's Dynamic Range is improved with the D-Range Optimizer (DRO) plus mode helping to retrieve more picture detail in the bright overexposed highlights and dark underexposed shadows. Talking of dark, Sony's NightShot technology helps to capture photos in virtually no light at all. Noise reduction is now a user-selectable option; alongside extensive manual controls including a three image exposure bracketing option.
As is favorable at the moment, the Cyber-shot DSC-H50 also includes an HD component output for viewing photos on a compatible HDTV set.
