The final round of Photographer of the Year was the big one - we left the topic wide "open" for your creative desires to run riot. The result was hundreds of excellent photographers' images, whittled down to a fantastic top 20 finalists.
Thousands of votes saw one image scrape past the finish line in 1st place - unsurprising given the quality of the other finalists!
It was a tight race, but without further ado (drum roll please), step forward Annette Blattman - ThinkCamera Photographer of the Year 2007! A brand new Sony a700 DSLR kit is on its way to you courtesy of our friends at Park Cameras.

Annette's winning image was a stunner of infrared trickery and clever post-production. Its icy-cool feel was a wonder to the eyes, attracting many comments and votes. Expect an exciting "how to" feature from Annette in the near future...
