Pentax 645 Digital
The Pentax 645 Digital camera is Pentax's first medium format digital SLR, formally announced in June 2005. Like the Mamiya ZD announced previously, it will be able to take pictures at sizes almost 3 times the size of 35mm camera film on its Kodak developed 18 megapixel sensor (although this level is still to be confirmed). The camera will have a new Pentax lens mount, the 645 AF, but will be compatible with existing Pentax 645 lenses. The release date isn't set yet, but since it was on show at the PMA it can't be too far off.

A new Digital SLR camera
Details are remarkably light on the ground about this camera, even the name hasn't been set finalised. What we do know however is that the sensor will be 10 megapixels, and the camera will be suited for producing high quality digital images primarily. The market launch for this is planned for Autumn 2006.
