Sony announces their entry into the CompactFlash market with a new range of cards.
66x (9mb/sec read&write) transfer speed with capacities of 1GB, 2GB and 4GB, and 133x (20mb/sec read&write) transfer speed with 2GB and 4GB capacities.
It seems that Sony have decided it's about time to support their own Alpha DSLR with their own brand cards. Along they was it's likely they'll face a fair bit of competition however - Lexar are due to release a similar range of cards in the very near future that run at 300x (quick stuff!).
Available May 2007.
