Which?, the UK's leading independent consumer magazine, asked readers to rate the reliability of cameras as part of a report on digital cameras.
Panasonic was voted the winner, with Sony, Canon and Nikon hot on their heels.
Of course there are many millions of other camera users out there that may opt for a different opinion.
Well done to Panasonic, although it must be said that many people would rather own a Canon/Nikon accepting the added 4 percent 'risk' to own the same brand as their friends.
