Kodak may have a few tricks up their sleeves yet...We check out the new Easyshare range:
|
First up the Kodak Easyshare Z712 IS Zoom comes with an impressive 12X optical zoom lens - that's an impressive 36-432mm (equivalent).
Not only that its 7.1megapixel sensor boasts, so Kodak claim, the 'best-in-class click-to-capture performance' - which, at 0.26 seconds, should see you capturing the pictures you want!
At £229, it could well be quite a good little purchase when it hits stores later this year...

Next on the list is the Kodak Easyshare Z885. The megapixels jump up to 8.1, whilst the zoom retracts somewhat to a 5x (36-180mm equivalent).
There are multiple smart feature modes, plus a rather massive ISO8000 - whether this truly functions at such a high level is another issue, not to mention how much noise could be expected. Saying that, it will be interesting to give it a thorough review to see how it all holds up.
Seems to have the majority of features as you would expect for a middleweight compact.
Should be in stores this May, RRP £149.

Finally the baby of the group - the Kodak Easyshare C613 comes in at a comfortable 6.2megapixels and 3x optical zoom for a comfortable £69.99.
Available May.
