Have you set up your advent calendar yet? Maybe there's a picture behind every door, maybe even a chocolate. Maybe you haven't bothered with one this year. Well don't worry, here at ThinkCamera we'll be providing an advent calendar for all our members. Of course it has pictures on and a door for every day from 1st of December right through to Christmas Eve. There's also a “shopping suggestion” - something you may like to buy for a friend who is as much into digital photography as you are (hint: why not bookmark the page on your friend's computer? That way they will know what to buy you!).
Of course we can't put chocolates behind each door so we thought of something better. Prizes. Lots of prizes.
Over two thousand pounds worth of prizes
And we're going to give them away, every day from the first of December until the 24th. That's 24 competitions. 24 chances to win. Some days the prize will be a cool gizmo that you'd love to find in your Christmas stocking. Some days it will be such an amazing prize that will it blow you away.
So here's the deal. Every day in December up to Christmas Eve you'll find a new article on the site. Open up the article to see what's behind the door that day. Each article contains a link - click on the link and you've entered in the competition. There are just three conditions:
- You have to be a member to enter (joining's free - get in quick and even signing up will enter you in another competition!)
- One entry per competition per member (we'll only count one of your entries)
- You can only enter on the day (so make sure you check the site every day - there's no point trying to win the jet-ski we gave away the day before!)
Some days will have one prize, some will have lots of prizes. We'll do our best to get the early ones out to you in time for Christmas but obviously with the later ones it will be New Year before you receive them.
Oh and in case you think you have better things to do on Christmas Eve than check the site - trust me. You don't want to miss the prize on the 24th!
“But I never win anything”
There are 24 competitions. Some have multiple prizes so there are more than 24 chances to win. Actually your odds are pretty good. But it's the season of giving so we'll go one better than that. Enter the competitions every day and I guarantee you will win one of the prizes! Yes, everybody will win something. You can't say fairer than that.

- Visit the site every day
- Read the new article and see what great presents we are recommending for you and your loved ones
- Click to enter the competition
- See what you win - because you WILL win - there will be a thread in the forum with the names of the winners as the prizes are won
- Tell all your friends to do the same - because with ThinkCamera everyone is a winner
