ThinkCamera Editor's ChoiceBy ThinkCamera | | |
Every now and again we see kit here at ThinkCamera that is just a bit special. Either it's the best product in its class or it offers outstanding value or it has some unique feature that you simply can't live without. Whatever the reason, when we see something special, we'll be giving it an Editor's Choice award. Whenever you see this logo you'll know that it's a product we love.
Since this is a new award, we've gone through some of our recent reviews and picked our first Editor's Choice winners.

ThinkTank Urban Disguise Camera Bags
Very clever bag that doesn't look very much like a camera bag. Bit like Dr Who's Tardis... you can fit loads of stuff in, it's made impeccably well...just doesn't quite travel between parallel dimensions!

ThinkTank Rotation 360 Camera Bag
This is a pro bag designed for professional photographers by professional photographers. Which speaks for itself - this is the best bag we've ever seen, bar none. It really is rather good.

Sony Alpha 100
If you've seen the review, you'll already know why we love this. 10.2 million pixels, innovative anti dust system and anti shake built into the body. All that adds up to a mighty impressive camera especially when backed by the full range of Minolta lenses and all the new goodies that Sony are rolling out. All this for less than 500 quid makes it a worthy Editor's Choice.

Fujifilm FinePix S6500fd
The best bridge camera you can buy right now and as a budget dSLR with travel zoom it knocks the socks of its closest rival, the S9600. It will also save you £100 - £200 off the price of an entry level DSLR and be somewhat easier to live with. Read our review...

Casio Exilim Z700
Delivers almost everything the Z600 did but with another million pixels thrown in. Vibrant colours, excellent punch and sharpness and if you shop hard a great price - oh and there's image stabilisation and 37 scene modes too. Read our review...

Lexmark P350 printer
Even Lexmark were surprised when we dropped their prints in a pan of water for an hour - and we were amazed that they stood up to this kind of punishment! A one trick printer but one that's very easy to use and produces outstanding results right out of the box. Read our review...

Pantone Huey Colour Calibrator
If you use a single monitor, don't have any kind of calibrator and want to get accurate colour reproduction at a reasonable price then go and buy a Huey. It's pretty well that simple. Screens just can't be calibrated by eye. The Huey will do it for you. Best of all, since it's sitting on your desk and reminds you when to calibrate you will actually use it. Read our review...

| Posted: 07/03/07 17:03:41 41 | | It would be great to know how the Fuji S6500fd, compares with the Sony H5 and the Canon S3IS in terms of image quality and speed for action photos. |
