My attempt at creating an infra red image in Photoshop. Ernie

I love it Ernie. Is there a plug in you use or do you do it some other way. I don't have Photoshop so if it's a plug in I think I've had it but I use Paintshop Pro and I can usually do anything in that.

Nice image, well done.
AyjayEl,
If you follow the instruction in this link, you can perhaps work out identical steps in PSP.

Mind you if you Google infrared in Paint shop Pro you will get all the plug-ins and tutorials there.

Tried making a simple infra-red filter sometime ago using a piece of film, doubt it worked, now film is getting scarce at the studios so I had to put as a wip on the back burner for now.

AyjayE, I did this by playing around with the channel mixer and a few other filters.
Simon thanks for the link, I will give that a go.
Leo, I am not sure, if a filter would work with digital.
Thanks all for the comments.Ernie

I think it does because I have seen some tutorials on building your own ir filter using film, just never had the time to really dig deeeper.Anyways hope to see more stuff from you soon.

Leo, I remember there being a filter for film, and I do recollect seeing something about not all digitals being able, the way to see if they where was to hold a remote control in front of the lens, if you could see it in the screen then it would be ok. I know that my Sony f717 has an IR preventive filter. Ernie
You pretty much have to use a filter for film IR.
