I love it Ernie. Is there a plug in you use or do you do it some other way. I don't have Photoshop so if it's a plug in I think I've had it but I use Paintshop Pro and I can usually do anything in that.
Nice image, well done. AyjayEl, If you follow the instruction in this link, you can perhaps work out identical steps in PSP. http://www.lifepixel.com/videos/basic-infrared-photoshop-info.html Mind you if you Google infrared in Paint shop Pro you will get all the plug-ins and tutorials there.
Tried making a simple infra-red filter sometime ago using a piece of film, doubt it worked, now film is getting scarce at the studios so I had to put as a wip on the back burner for now.
AyjayE, I did this by playing around with the channel mixer and a few other filters. Simon thanks for the link, I will give that a go. Leo, I am not sure, if a filter would work with digital. Thanks all for the comments.Ernie
I think it does because I have seen some tutorials on building your own ir filter using film, just never had the time to really dig deeeper.Anyways hope to see more stuff from you soon.
Leo, I remember there being a filter for film, and I do recollect seeing something about not all digitals being able, the way to see if they where was to hold a remote control in front of the lens, if you could see it in the screen then it would be ok. I know that my Sony f717 has an IR preventive filter. Ernie
