That was a big suprise!

Great shot. But one thing I don't understand:

In the little 'POTW' thumbnail, the sky is very clearly purple.

But in the large image, the sky is almost black.

What's happened???

There was a lot of light on my screen that day.

It appears adjustments went a bit out of hand.

Purple is fun though... :-)

HDR is 'High Dynamic Range'. You take between 3 and 7 images of the same scene and combine them with a computer program to get a larger range of brightness control.
