Who is this youngster only going back a few years to 2000? My first digital was the Casio QV10a at at FANTASTIC resolution of 320x200 pixels! And it was great. Good old days of 1991.
Nigel - James Blundell here - Lilian's son - she's been trying to contact your mum and dad for 3 weeks and is rather worried, can you mail me at james@feeldesign.co.uk to let me know if they're OK? Thanks James
Mine was a Fuji Finepix 6900zoom - one of the first in the country - i still have and still use it.
My next was the NikonD70, that got stolen out of my backpack in Prague and got replaced with a D70s - never got on with it compared to the D70, so that got replaced with the D80 and there I'm stopping for the time being.
My wife's 1st Digital was a Finepix A303 and she later replaced that with a Finepix A900 and that's where she's stopped!
My first digital camera was an Olympus C-3030Z compact zoom from 2000, with its whopping great 3.3megapixel sensor. I was using a Leica M6 professionally at the time and this fitted perfectly with the Leica ethos.
The Nikon D70 is an interesting one. There's a whole generation of photographers who had either a Canon 300D or a Nikon D70 as their first DSLR.
