Simply gorgeous. Lots of image manipulation here? Love the patches of blue, green showing in pine needles, and sense of creation or genesis vignetted by the dawn/dusk "firestorm."

I do like the effect you have created here Roger, very striking work! HDR tutorial from Simone Byrne RB I thought that this might be useful to you Roger, seeing that you've said you are still learning about it?

Thanks Sylvia I took a look and hopefully learnt something. It seems that the key to great HDR is a great image to start with and very subtle use of the HDR affect something I seem unable to do as I simply don't seems to be able to hold back when applying them as I love a very strong HDR affect especially with the right subject matter. Redbubble has some great examples of both strong affects done superbly as well as less obviously HDR'd examples.
