That's a fabulous picture of the Angel. Thank you SO much for writing the article on it. I looked at that picture and wondered just how anybody could go about it.

All I've got to do know is wait until the darker nights so I can have a go.

Just a question - what kind of torch did you use and how far away were you?

Thanks for replying to the thread and viewing the picture so this should answer both at once.

The 3.5 million candle power spotlight lit this statue up from about 200 feet away, its one powerful spot lamp and you can pick one up for about 15 quid, but this sort of lamp is overkill for most things that you would like to shoot using this technique, i only bought and used it for this one project that i wanted to do.

Iwill have another go at this year.

I only wonder what the drivers on the A1 thought when there was flashing light all over the angel while driving by in the dark.
