canon software/vista

hello all.

just got a laptop with vista for my photography travels  and im unable to load the camera software to view my images on it. all other cameras will load except the canon 5d. if anyone has had this problem and know a way around it all help will be appreciated..thanks........phil

Hi PhilI had the same problem when we got vista, although I was only on my compact Ricoh R5 at the time.We contacted Ricoh and they sent us some link to help the download. (Not very computer literate so can’t explain in any detail!) Jo

thanks for the reply jo.

i think i will have to contact canon but the trouble is with them and that is they only answer every 3 days. im not well up on computers myself jo and i use my pc for photography reasons only.

I always take a PCMCIA Adapter with me, very small and lightweight http://www.picstop.co.uk/PC-Card-&-Adapters

As an alternative how about a small usb card reader
