The supplimentary light is just right, I am intrigued to know how you did it.

For me a lovely photograph.

Hi Paul, this shot was taken on a Canon 30D with a 70mm-200mm f2.8L IS USM lens at 200mm.

I was at the event taking extra  photographs for the Bride and Groom, the shot was taken from across the room as the bride walked alongside an illuminated pillar, at the end of the ceremony.

A very satisfying moment for you, perfect subject and just that bit of luck.  Also not forgetting the skill for having the camera set up so well.
