Fabulous image once more, strange looking arch. 

Again people in the shot help show the huge scale.

It is strange Anthony, and if the snow is deep enough you can ski through it, but on this occasion it was a climb of a couple of metres to get through. I left the foreground in to try to show the gradient of the slope those figures are skiing on. It looks vertical from the top. If we could zoom in to the guy standing still on his skis, you'd probably see the panic in his face, and maybe a tear or two  !

For the photo, what struck me was the stark interaction of contrast between the snow, rock and sky.
