It would be helpful if there were details of the lens used, ISO, Speed, Aperture, etc. Even with my glasses on it looks fuzzy to me and therefore out of focus, EXIF data would be helpful in determining was the problem might be (if there is one).

David, it would also be very helpful if you used the comments box below the particular image that you are commenting on. This way we will all see the image that you are referring to without having to do a search.

EXIF data would be a good inclusion on any image. If nothing else, if you put your name and details in the metadata, at least you prevent the most basic 'cut and paste' copyright theft.

Alan

All my photos are uploaded complete with Exif, but I've always assumed that this site strips out the exif, as my exif readers always reports "Unable to extract some or all of the Exif data."

Sorry, new to this site, but if there is no provision by the site to include the some data somewhere, even putting it in manually then we are missing a trick.  All I wanted to do was see if there was a DOF issue. David

David, A lot of people use "Save for Web" this automatically removes Exif, so even if this site could extract exif it would be unable to do so.

Oh yes, good points well made. The inclusion of EXIF/IPTC metatdata is something we are looking into, alongside all the other site improvements that may or may not happen.

In the meantime, there's always the comments box...

Thanks to both of you. To understand the site better, I have uploaded a photo of the Belfast Eye.

I was able to put comments with the image and included my Camera and exposure details to see how it works.  David
