Some very nice pics you submitted.

I'm would be interested to know how much post production was done (if any)on them and how you shot them? Shutter speads, filters etc

Thanks Roger,

For this one, I used a blending layer in photoshop to bring out the colour and contrast in the sky.

I didn't use any filters and it was shot at ISO800 1/60th @ f16 using a monopod.

Edinburgh was a Tone mapped HDR image from a single RAW file

Crummock Water was multi-layers blended to show shadow details in with the sky highlights.

Shot at ISO50 1.6secs @ f22

Hope this helps,

Ian

Shoreline sunset was completed in a similar way at ISO 100 1.6 secs @ f20

Thanks for the information. I thought the Edinburgh one was HDR and it was nicely done. I am from Edinburgh originally and thought your photo caputered the feel well.

Crummock water was well handled also. I could not tell that any post production had been done but felt the sky detail was not too strong and would have improved the photo of it could have been brought out more.

My favorite of your posts is Shorline Sunset. This is a great composition and beautifully shot.

Cheers,

Roger
