I see what you mean to, but the picture is very recoverable. I took three minutes in PS and came up with what I think is the reason why you took the picture in the first place. I rather prefer that than the filtered version, which is stunning in effects, but to me does not represent a photograph. I hope you understand that that isn't criticism, just my opinion.
I also managed not a bad rescue with PS but actually prefered the more sureal version, it comes down to a matter of taste/opinions in the end if we all liked the same things it would not be a very interesting world so thanks for your comments they are always welcome.
Doglover, there is a similar plugon called Lucis Art with a free trial if you are interested but that cost up to almost $600 for the full professional version I think which might give you some perspective on prices.
