Perhaps 'shockproof to 1.5m' means you could drop this camera from a height of 1.5m on to something. Presumably, there's an industry-standard material designed specifically for dropping things on. Or, so I don't end a sentence with a preposition, there is a specifically designed industry-standard material, dropped upon which are things.
