Hurray, I've managed to open this

I do love this image Cakey and I want to congratulate you on this work being selected as the Photo of the week here on Think Camera. You must be encouraged to enter it into the comp now I hope? You should seriously consider it, even though I know that I probably loose if you do? But I don't mind if I loose to a photograph that is as good as this one

You have to hurry up though Cakey as we are reaching the end of July.

Very nice picture Cakey with lots of atmosphere. Also a nice exercise in the rule of thirds.

It reminds me of some of the scenes shot in Lord of the Rings. I almost expect Gollum to appear at any minute.

What it needs is a hand reaching out of the water holding a sword.

I think you could do that with Layers........

How about Gollum's head coming out of the water?

Now then, Ron --- You know that using Photoshop is cheating .........

Once you use photoshop (or any of the photo enhancement programmes) the picture becomes 'false' ---in other words .....It is no longer the original picture that was taken ...
