First time on this site not sure i have picked the right topic but here goes.
I have brought form 7dayshop.com a Kingstone Elite pro 2gb SD card, but when inserted into my new Pansonic Lumix2 camera all i get is an error message (Memory Card Error Please Check The Card) anyone got any ideas what could be wrong. card works OK in a different camera and a 1gb Ultra2 card works OK.

Have sorted the fault, it was a faulty card.
Replacement item worked 1st time as soon as put into the camera.

Guillermo,

This might be obvious, but can the FX07 handle 4 Gb cards?
I know that some cameras are limited to 1 or 2 Gb. It should tell you in the manual what the maximum capacity card is that you can use.

some cameras can only handle 512(!) :(

i would say check the handbook

my daughter's new 10mp fuji can only take a 2gb card although you can get bigger ones.

A lot of little compacts can only take 2gb cards.

Mine's an 8mp and with a 2gb card it gives me over 500 shots. Can't think I'll ever use that many.

I would also add some advice here - shop around for prices, they vary considerably! If you are a user of ebay there are some real bargains to be had compared with the high street, but also the high street store prices are very different, depending on the stores you shop in.

That is good advise, but be careful because there are a lot of fakes about on e-bay. Cards have the sticker on them claimeing to be 4 gB and only are 512 mb for example. I found Mymemory very good and cheap.

I took a chance and bought one off Fleabay, a Sandisk Ultra II 2gb and guess what?

.

.

It was a good 'un. Serial number printed on it, proper sticker (not a cheapo scanned and inkjet job), and when I loaded it I got what I expected to be the right number of pictures available. It even came from within this country (well Guernsey at least), 36hour delivery.

£6.48 incl. P&P and I got an SD card reader with it that works. Bargain or what?

But you deserve it.

I buy lots of stuff from 7dayshop and have never had a problem...The sd cards are very cheap and although they are not always branded ones I've never had a bad one
