I thought I'd revisit this one that I started.
Hmmm, Dean (the photographer) never came back, which is a pity because yesterday I visited Borisburg and went to see this very fountain in Trafalgar Square (soon to be renamed Livingstone Square).
I couldn't remember the angles of this picture and looked at several myself. It is a difficult and very tight shot, but I believe by taking one step back and aiming just a little further, 1 degree or so, to the left it would have all come in nicely. Of course it needs a bit of light on old George the IV to bring him out, but I do still like the subtle colours in this shot.
The main reason for my going into Livingst .... sorry, Trafalgar Square was to see what damage had been caused by The Flood that was on TV at the weekend and as you can see from my snap, everything has dried out nicely.
Ah well, that's me in the Tower of London for breaking the law, i.e.: no photos to be taken in Trafalgar Square, but then Boris is an old neighbour (until he gives up his seat) of mine so maybe he'll let me off.
Gosh, it was hot in the city though.
