Thanks. I took so many images before getting the slinky in the right place. I needed about 4 hands to keep it all in place. Cable release used in teeth to free up hands!

Haha, yeah close up stuff can get a bit like that! What camera, lens etc did you use out of interest? Thanks, Dave

Hi

Fuji S602 on macro setting it was about 2 inches into the slinky held with tape and I was holding the other end moving it around to get the best bend etc.

Reminds me of when I took the photo that's my "face" on here at the mo was taken with a D70, 50mm lens and extension tubes, and used built-in flash. To stop the lens casting a huge shadow from the flash, I hand-held a small mirror with one hand over the lens to reflect light down, holding the camera in the other, and I had to focus by moving the whole lot forwards and backwards as with extension tubes the AF doesn't really work properly and I didn't have a hand free to turn it manually! Took about 100 shots, I think that was one of the two best.
